FAQ

Do you offer mini sessions too?
I’ve moved away from mini sessions because they don’t allow for a natural flow. My sessions are longer and more intentional than most. No stiff poses, no rushed smiles, and definitely no pressure to perform. I believe the best photos happen when you’re fully at ease — when you’ve had time to explore, play, and just be yourself.
Parents sometimes worry that 1.5 hours is too long with kids, but in my experience, it’s just right. I let little ones warm up to the camera, join in when they’re ready, and take the lead when they want to. That space is where the magic happens — the giggles, the quiet cuddles, the real stuff.
If you’re looking for slow, meaningful photography in wild places — whether on land or underwater — you’re in the right place.
Can I use the photos for social media and marketing materials?
Yes, absolutely — for personal use! You’re welcome to share the images on your personal social media, print them, or use them in things like holiday cards, baby announcements, or gifts.
If you're a small business owner and would like to use a few images for your professional profile or marketing materials, just let me know in advance. In most cases, I’m happy to say yes — I just like to make sure they’re used in the right context and with proper credit when needed.
What if we feel awkward in front of the camera?
You’re not alone — most of my clients say the same thing at first. I guide you gently, keep things light, and make space for real connection. We move, we play, and before you know it, you’ll forget the camera is even there.
Are the travel expenses included in your packages or covered additionally?
Most shoots on Curaçao — especially around popular spots like Jan Thiel, Punda, or Westpunt — are included in the package price.
If we plan a session that’s a little further out or requires special access (like Cas Abao beach with an entrance fee), I’ll always let you know in advance. Any extra travel costs or entrance fees will be added to your final invoice transparently, so there are no surprises.
Do you only shoot in nature or by the ocean?
Most of my shoots are outdoors — it's where I find the best light and most relaxed energy. But I’m open to beautiful indoor or at-home sessions, especially for newborns or motherhood moments.
Do you travel for shoots?
Yes! I’m based in Curaçao but love working with people across the Caribbean (and beyond). If you have a dream location in mind, I’m always up for an adventure. Travel fees may apply depending on where.
How do underwater shoots work?
Underwater sessions take a bit more prep and time — but they’re absolutely worth it. We’ll go over locations, safety, wardrobe, and what to expect beforehand, so you feel confident and excited going in.
When will I receive my photos?
Your proof gallery will be ready within 2–3 weeks. Once you choose your favorites, I’ll send the final high-res edits within 1 week after that.
Can I order extra images?
Absolutely! Your proof gallery usually includes 60–100+ images depending on your session. If you want to add more edits beyond the ones included in your package, you can do so for $15/image.
What should we wear?
Most importantly, wear something that feels like you. I love pieces that move — think flowy dresses, loose fabrics, or wraps that catch the wind. Earthy tones always photograph beautifully in nature. And barefoot? Always welcome.
What makes your approach different?
My sessions are longer and more intentional than most. No stiff poses, no rushed smiles, and definitely no pressure to perform. I believe the best photos happen when you’re fully at ease — when you’ve had time to explore, play, and just be yourself.
Parents sometimes worry that 1.5 hours is too long with kids, but in my experience, it’s just right. I let little ones warm up to the camera, join in when they’re ready, and take the lead when they want to. That space is where the magic happens — the giggles, the quiet cuddles, the real stuff.
That’s also why I’ve moved away from mini sessions. They just don’t allow for that natural flow. If you’re looking for slow, meaningful photography in wild places — whether on land or underwater — you’re in the right place.
